POSS-p: Total possessions counted from play-by-play data. This is the true count of possession changes during games.
POSS: Possessions estimated using the Basketball Reference formula: 0.5 × ((FGA + 0.4×FTA - 1.07×(ORB/(ORB+Opp_DRB))×(FGA-FGM) + TOV) + (Opp_FGA + 0.4×Opp_FTA - 1.07×(Opp_ORB/(Opp_ORB+DRB))×(Opp_FGA-Opp_FGM) + Opp_TOV)). Used for all per-possession calculations (Pace, ORtg, DRtg) for consistency with standard NBA metrics.
Pace: Possessions per 40 minutes (NBL game length), calculated using POSS. Higher = faster tempo.
ORtg (Offensive Rating): Points scored per 100 possessions (using POSS). Higher is better.
DRtg (Defensive Rating): Points allowed per 100 possessions (using POSS). Lower is better.
NetRtg (Net Rating): ORtg - DRtg. Positive is better.
TS% (True Shooting %): Shooting efficiency accounting for 2s, 3s, and FTs. Higher is better.
AST% (Assist Rate): % of field goals that were assisted. Higher indicates better ball movement.
REB% (Rebound Rate): % of available rebounds grabbed. Higher is better.
